J. Levy & Cie Magic Lantern glass slide photo of a young Moorish woman (she looks like a young girl, to me).
Slide is being sold as found. I have not tried to clean it..and it does need cleaning.
I see a lot of dust, some soiling spots and some fingerprints when the slide is held to the light at a certain angle.
I see what, I think, could be a few very light surface scratches on the glass. I can only see them with the magnifying glass while holding the slide at a certain angle to the light.
I do not see any breaks or cracks in the glass.
The slide is bound in original black paper edging and measures about 3.25″ x 4″.
