Elizabeth “Lizzie” Vose is the daughter of Samuel H. Vose and Sarah Tamzan Upham.
Elizabeth Vose was born October 27th 1850 and died Feburary 25th 1870. She was only 19 years old.
Lizzie’s mother Sarah Upham also died young at the age of 34 as well as the rest of her siblings, Josephine at age 25 from TB and Ellen at 8 months
The back of the CDV has the initials B.P.K. which is referring to her cousin, Benjamin Payson Kelley.
I believe Lizzie gave this picture to her cousin as a gift.
