Written on the back in period hand is ‘Taken March 2nd 1872 age not quite a month over 21 years’.
CDV measures about 2 1/2” x 4”.
All genealogy was done by me which means I could be wrong!
Benjamin Payson Kelley was born on February 9, 1851, in Salem, New Hampshire, his father, Gilman, was 27 and his mother, Mary, was 23. He married Margaret “Maggie” C Farr on September 25, 1877. They had four children in 15 years. He died in 1920 in his hometown, at the age of 69.
